My journey didn’t start with privilege; it started with pure survival. The deep trauma of childhood abuse found a devastating escape route when I took my first drink of alcohol at just 5 years old. By 13, I was choking on my own sickness in a Glenbeulah alleyway.

I had a gift. I was winning vocal awards, landing choir solos, and dominating the stage. But by 15, the music inside me was being suffocated by chronic addiction. The "party" was actually a prison. It destroyed my high school years, shattered my musical opportunities, and dragged me into the largest drug bust in Marinette County history. I lost my best friend, John, to a drunk driver. On June 10th, 1983, in an alley behind the Thirsty Whale Tavern in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, Kevin Lee Reiss bled to death.

But the Creator operates with KADASH precision. Through CPR, hospital interventions, and a miraculous spark of life from YAHuuah, I was pulled back from the void.
